To keep track of every spam submission and low scoring flash that is submitted over each week. This way I can keep track of potential RCP and Underdog stealing.

How are these awards stolen?

People will make a bunch of alts or use a bunch of crew members to review their movie with 10's before the awards are chosen. When they drop of the top 50 list they are hard to notice.

They can steal underdog by voting 0 on their submission and reviewing highly on it. They can simply go for RCP the same way just in case if they miss they can always win underdog.

How will it work?

Before the awards are chosen at midnight as soon as it turns Wednesday I will check all of the submissions. When I notice one being stolen I will talk to a review mod on AIM. The reviews can be deleted and if done correctly these two awards shouldn't be stolen by a spam submission. I might miss a few because of file swaps, but it will slow them down for sure.

What can you do to help?

You can comment leaving links to spam submission and low scoring flash here. It'll make my job a lot easier.

Don't vote 0 on any of these submissions. It will just help them win underdog. Only vote 0 while the submission is under judgment to attempt and blam it.

Vote honestly while under judgment. Did you know when a spam submission is deleted you still get the blam point if you voted lowly on it?

Give any of these submissions an honest review. If you think it deserves a 0 give it a 0 and if you think it deserves a higher score then give it a higher score. While reviewing for the love of god don't make it abusive. Even if it is a spam submission leave it a good review. Telling them what to improve and how to improve it. This not only gives their review rating a more honest review, makes it so your review can't be deleted for being abusive, but also shows other potential reviews the right way to review.

Why low scoring flash if they're not spam?

If this is successful and stops spam submissions they may try to make decent submissions that don't seem like spam, but they still try and steal anyway.

In the end many accounts were deleted, banned, and we did stop them from stealing all awards as we found a submission that would have made them win underdog and RCP.

First, that's not a DD submission. After Wade assed their main effort, that was kind of a half-baked contingency plan to screw with the awards out of spite. While they did mess with it, they didn't outright steal it (they just gave it to someone else).

On top of that, they lost more alts than they made this week. Keep doing that and they'll eventually run out of spare/stolen alts from ages ago, and won't be able to re-try it after the initial attempted theft has been deleted (along with all the disposable alts made just for stealing that week's awards).

Every time they do this, it'll get increasingly harder to do it again. I don't even know what they have left to achieve with this award crap; they've already succeeded in stealing all 3 awards in the past, what more can they do that they haven't already done before?

Yeah, I meant they won underdog. Not really that they won overall.

We did stop the main one and in the ditch effort they had someone else win. Wade and Poozy took care of quite a bit of alts that I sent him.

I do give them props on making the Corky alts. I knew it was coming, pretty obvious, but sort of funny at the same time.

That's why I saw we are 1 and 1 now. We got a bunch of alts and accounts permbanned, stopped one award from winning RCP, they won an underdog.
