Way too basic of a game.

Graphic wise it's just a bunch of copied/pasted dragons off of the internet along with a copy and pasted background. Nothing original here at all. Even at that, it's not really well done. There's a ton of white outside of the dragons.

It becomes clear after a little bit of trial and error where to click and what dragon does what, but some description would go along way here.

I mean, I could go on and on with this one, but I won't. It generally needs to improve everywhere. There's no goal, there's nothing. What is there is painfully basic and not well done. It basically has no reason to play for more than a couple of seconds and definitely people wouldn't come back to play it again.

i will take that on in the next version i'm not sure why there is a really white background or the music isn't there thanks for your feedback (this was my first project so don't be so hard on me (i am a kid))

This was really fun. A full version of this game would be amazing. I could see myself playing through for a much longer time. Sadly, I didn't even experience crafting the best weapons or really ever worrying about much of the game mechanics because I was just focused on the missions.

If there were about twice as many missions I would have gotten through the entirety of the game. I just played long enough to get iron equipment, and the rest of the game was super simple after that.

The last couple of missions were kind of a let down. I was expecting some kind of big boss battle? The game didn't feel rushed by any means, but just ends way too soon.

Must play, highly recommended.

Great job MonoFlauta and gang.

MonoFlauta responds:

Thank you a lot for trying it out! The gang also says thanks!

I actually really liked this game and think it would be extremely fun if the map got much larger and you had slightly more control. Some sort of upgrade system that involved things such as reduced food reduction, more armor, health, attack, etc... would make this a lot more involved and interesting.

I imagine a game with a large map and more objectives, but with the same concept of your people kind of just walking around randomly.

Well I haven't finished it yet, but I feel that I'm starting to make some progress. It's really fun, something that I may purchase the full version of some day for sure. I also realize that I haven't played through number 4 so after this one I'm going to have several more weeks of gaming to go!

I should have switched the game to epic mode before I started playing because I'm going to miss out on some medals because of that. There's not a way to go back without playing the entire game again on epic just to try and get those medals is there? If not, I'll most likely just go for everything besides those medals.

I seriously should have taken time off of work for this. :P I've had to limit myself to 2 hours a day playing when I should be doing work...

matt-likes-swords responds:

You can re-fight bosses in the full version, so moving your save file to that is also an option!

The icon for the purging event was artistically chosen and highly appropriate. Was only going to give 1 star before I saw that. Saved yourself.

Little-Rena responds:

And that is why you are both the best, and worst mod!

I feel like I missed something. On the 13th I got the knife and talked to everyone, but I couldn't use it on that day. Now I can use it but it really doesn't do anything? Did I miss something on one of the days?

Edit* @GeoKureli

Was the killing only allowed on the 13th as well?

GeoKureli responds:

If you had the knife and pressed spaced while touching the killer you would have killed them. the stab animation was there because people thought they lost the knife or something.

BrandyBuizel responds:

That was all just a Friday the 13th exclusive game, if you got the knife from it you get to keep it

For those you want to get the medals play all the way through until you get them all/beat the game. The medals will appear on your game screen, but only one will show up on your profile.

At this point refresh the game and open it up again. All of the medals will appear on the game screen and this time they should show up on your profile too.

The game itself is very simple, but actually a refreshing change since I didn't have to mash the mouse. The game just needs updated graphics and longer gameplay with more upgrades and features.

Once you learn that you should spam apples in the row as close to your "base" as possible as quickly as possible at the beginning of the match the game really isn't too hard. It's kind of fun, but so simple that I don't think it has very much replay value.

So the basic strategy I used was the max amount of apples against the far left as possible. Two rows over put swordsmen down an entire row. Behind them put two mages all the way down the rows. Then spam swordsmen or even stones on the rest of the map until you can't place anything more. Repeat until you've won the last level.

Perhaps with larger maps, different enemies, and different strategies such as adding an upgrade system this game could become a fun one to come back to. Other than that it was a bit too simple for my tastes.

It took me a little bit to get all of the medals, but I eventually did. The regular mode was super easy, because for the majority of the map you can just ride the very top and only drop down to the rest of the map when something shows up. I gave up on that part and let myself die because I feel like I could have went for a long time and didn't have any incentive after the 100 medal, perhaps if there was a 200 medal or even a 300 medal people would have more motivation to keep on going.

It actually took me awhile to find out that you can just click and hold the pen and it'll continue to go up. During the Fan mode I was just spamming the click and it I kept dying, but as soon as I figured out you could just hold it down it made it super easy. Knowing that before I would have had an even easier time in the regular mode.

Overall I really like it though. It's quite simple, but I've always loved when graphics and real life pictures are added together. It's a bit easy and could use with some sort of punishment such as when riding the top and bottom of the screen you get points slower or something like that.

Now this idea is not possible, I turned off the screen adaptation
