[13th - GOATSE]

Kind of short

Animation/Graphics - The drawing could have been just a little bit better, but it wasn't too bad. Decent smooth animation, but like always very simple animation. Pretty much the same thing for the other reviews I have given.

Story/Content - Ha, kind of funny. I of course don't understand everything completely, but from what I got from the submission it was pretty funny. I enjoyed the whole part with the computer. (Even though that was basically the whole thing) Kind of on the short side and could have been a bit longer than it was. So a little more content would have been a little better.

Audio - I hate that voice. :P Oh well, it kind of makes the submission funny, but you could have also got a voice actor. Kind of late now as the submission is from 2006. Like I said though the voice kind of makes the submission funny.

Overall - Could have been a bit longer, but other than that a nice comical short flash submission.

Not too bad.

Animation/Graphics - Again, the animation was very smooth even though it was sprites and very basic. I liked the nice effect where as Mario ran across the screen that the background moved instead of him just like a real game. Something that I have to start doing in my sprite movies that I'm making. Some of it was kind of weird as Sonic just randomly jumped from places to places with no animation in between.

Story/Content - Basically another music video that you made here. I liked how it had the animation in the beginning, but as soon as it was just Mario standing there and Sonic was just spinning it got kind of boring. So I rather see the animation continue from there instead of just the same thing happening for the rest of the video.

Audio - The audio was great again. It was probably the only reason that I finished watching the flash when Sonic and Mario were just there towards the end of the flash.

Overall - I would have rather seen you finish the animation to the song, but the parts that you had were pretty good.

Good job

Animation/Graphics - The animation was pretty smooth, but also pretty basic. I think the best thing that you animated was the mouth. It actually gave me a basic idea how to animate a mouth while still being pretty easy to do. I liked the fast movement that looked like it represented head banging.

Story/Content - I enjoy music videos sometimes and this one was pretty good. The only thing that I could recommend would be to add some more content to the flash like have them do some of the things that they are singing about. Well perhaps not so much in this one though. :P

Audio - The audio was great. If I was going to watch a music video today I'm happy that it was something heavier like this. Let alone a very funny song. The audio was a great choice to make a song about.

Overall - Maybe it could have used a little more animation and a little more content in the flash itself, but pretty fun to watch and listen to.

Animation/Graphics - The first thing that I noticed was that yes the drawings weren't very good. :P I think that if you worked on some characters instead of some circles that the flash would have been much better. Let's forget about that for a little bit though and just talk about the animation itself. I think you could have gotten the circle characters to work if you worked on the environment of the flash a little bit. Making the background more detailed such as giving the place walls, ceiling, floors, background items, etc... Also being able to see a bullet hitting the guys would have made it just a tad bit better. All things that could be worked on.

Story/Content - Not very original. Looks like something a beginner would make in flash. You had the generic couple of kills and even the generic dance club thing that surprising a lot of flashes have. So perhaps a background story would be nice instead of just random killing and everything. I do like the menus though they are well presented. The introduction of the flash and the skip button was also very nice even though I didn't use the skip button so I assumed that it worked well.

Audio - You had good audio here with the music and the gun sound effects. The only room you would have for more audio or to improve the audio in the submission would to be adding more to the story to give yourself more opportunities.

Overall - The generic fighting scene. I think the two biggest things that need to improve is a story and some better graphics.

Animation/Graphics - The drawing wasn't the best. I think if I were to submit something like this that I would try making something extremely good. The picture that you drew ended up looking just like something that most people could draw in a very short amount of time like you did here. I know this is a commonly used phrase, but practice does make perfect.

Story/Content - Well a pretty good idea, but I think you could have made it much better. I think you could have done something like draw a background or some other things with him too to add to the flash submission a little bit. Perhaps do something like adding animation to it. Like you could draw the characters a little bit smaller and draw the character you did off to the one side of the screen. Have him actually animated a little bit like move his arm up and down and blink, etc... Then draw a bad guy off to the right of the screen. Have them react to each other in some way and then you could draw a weapon that drops down to the character so they could get the bad guy.

I'm not recommending doing that itself, but I'm just trying to give examples of how to add to the content of the flash.

Audio - I liked the audio that you chose, but I think it would of sounded really good if you had a marker, pencil, pen, or chalk sound effect when the character was being drawn. That would mean you would need some good ambient music that stayed in the background so you could always hear the drawing sounds.

Overall - A decent idea, but it wasn't really presented that well.

[Precious Little Chicken]

Good animation.

Animation/Graphics - The animation and graphics were very good. Looks like you are pretty good at drawing. The animation was smooth and everything seemed perfectly fine.

Story/Content - Very short.. I don't know if it makes a great flash all by itself, but what you had was alright. I really didn't find anything too funny about the content or the story of the flash though. That's why I think you could have built up to it and made it a bit longer. Maybe having here take eggs from the chicken, feed it, etc... For maybe a day or two and then have the chicken just kill her randomly. Perhaps it would have been a little bit harder to predict and would surprise the audience more.

Credits - The credits get a little section by themselves this time around. :D Ha, they were by far the best part in terms of humor in the entire flash. So to anyone who may be reading my review, WATCH THE CREDITS. They are good.

Audio - Ha, this is a part that I found funny. I liked the voice of the woman and the voice/music that you used during the credits. The music and sound effects that you used during the flash part itself was also pretty good.

Overall - The credits make the submission, but the animation itself is done very well.

Yeah, I wrote this script when I was just starting to write seriously. I am curious on how it is so predictable, Ive heard that a lot about this flash lol. I was thinking about rewriting the story a little and maybe having a 4 year anniversary of the flash or something. I would just have to get an animator again lol. Maybe "Precious Little Chicken REDUX!" I dont know. Anyway thanks for your comments!

Amazing flash skills here.

Animation/Graphics - You really put in the best of the best here didn't you? All of them were good, some of them were very good, and some were amazing. Some were very simple and some looked more advanced in terms of animation, but they were all done very well. I really liked the pixel look that you guys chose for this submission. Was everything in pixel though? I think I remember seeing one that wasn't.

Story/Content - Again, some were good, some were great, and some were amazing. I think the funniest one of all had to be the airplane gag, which for some reason I didn't see coming at all. Some weren't too great in terms of content though. Some simple ones that really didn't do anything at all and things like that. The ones that were good greatly outnumbered the ones that weren't very good by such a large number that the bad ones don't really take away from the flash.

Audio - I think this is the best that I have ever seen audio synced with a flash and almost everyone had the perfect match with their audio. Great job to everyone here.

Overall - A great submission that is worth a watch. Great job guys.

[Behind the Flash:Splapp]

Pretty good.

Animation/Graphics - The animation was pretty good and everything. You had a pretty good drawing style and animation style all around. You had a lot of variety throughout the entire flash submission.

Story/Content - A good idea for a flash submission. This was a very long episode. It took quite awhile to get through the entire thing. There was pretty good humor, but the funniest thing that sticks out in my mind is when the homeless/hobo guy is just muttering random words because that is exactly how I would envision a homeless person. :P That being said I didn't completely understand everything going on.

Audio - The voice acting sounded great for the most part, but the audio quality itself wasn't the best. Sometimes it would be really loud or sometimes it would be really quiet. I recommend working a little bit on making the volume of the voices consistent. There were also times where someone would be yelling and it almost sounded like you were doing that fake yell thing where you actually end up making your voice quieter. The last part that I noticed about the audio was in a couple of places it sounded like the person was too close to the mic as it picked up some unwanted static noises.

Overall - The only thing that I can recommend to make this flash better is making the voice acting throughout the entire thing consistent. Other than that it's pretty good.

[Old Lady Vs. Chicken]

Needs a little work.

Animation/Graphics - The animation and drawing styles were different and original. That's nice to see now and then and the style you used was pretty interesting. That being said it was very simple, but I think it did get the job done.

Story/Content - Hmm, rather short. Perhaps it would be alright as a collab part or something, but it really wasn't overly funny in my opinion. The only time that I really like submissions this short is when they are funny or completely random. Kind of predictable, which may have took the humor out of it. The text that you used for what the woman said to the chicken went by very fast. I had to watch through a second time just to see what it said. Perhaps a play and a replay button would also add to the flash.

Audio - I think instead of having the text you could have used voice acting. If you wanted to keep the text adding voices would still probably sound pretty good. Other than that pretty good sound effects and pretty good choice of music all around.

Overall - The animation and audio was decent, but there could be more content in the flash to make it interesting to the viewers.

[Skate Dance Mix]

Not really entertaining.

Animation/Graphics - The animation and graphics were the best part about the flash. The drawings kind of had to be good since they were sprites and everything, but you did a really good job on animating them smoothly. So very smooth animation and this is basically where you got most of your points in my review from.

Story/Content - Kind of boring to be honest. I don't think that sprites are the right choice for a dance song. Maybe that's just my opinion, but it just wasn't very entertaining at all. I do like the interactivity that you had in the flash by adding the buttons and even having the character saying your name though. Perhaps you could have made it a little bit better by adding more dancing/dancers, etc.. Also, the way he died at the end was kind of random and completely weird.

Audio - I think you could have chose much better music for the flash. Perhaps that's my opinion on disliking the genre, but hell.

Overall - Not really entertaining to watch or anything.
