The longer you look at this picture the better. I just noticed the poop in Gory's hand. Man, I'm so self centered that and picture with me in it is automatically a winner in my books!

Seriously, a great idea to get the community involved like this. Will there be any future adventures? Maybe a comic series or maybe s villains section?!

BillyRedSnake responds:

That's a very good question.
That could definitely be a really cool concept!

This is really creepy and cool. I just clicked on the random art button and this was the first thing to come up. The strands of saliva add a lot of detail to this.

The jaw doesn't necessarily look broken, but just one that easily detaches like a monster in a horror movie.

Something is just a little too bright and clean about the face to give it a proper creepy feeling, but it's almost there. It would be great to see a final product with a background and body connected to the head.

LOONARFLARE responds:

thx for the criticism, i agree that it looks a lil too bright (i seem to have a problem with over-using Pure White in horror art .-.). i'll be sure to keep this in mind in hte future

Just stopping by to say that I think you're art in general has improved so much since the original work that I've seen you create. This one stands out the most to me in comparison to your old work.

It's just cool to see an artist grow and improve over the course of time. Keep up the good work.

What was it a wise man once said? Oh, yeah -- "So at the end of the day I dont give a fuck what you think about me" -- right back at'cha, pal...

This is amazing scenery. I really love the view of the mountain. This legit looks like it came right out of a professional animation.

MartinFelice responds:

Thank you!! :D

This is a really cool sketch. I would love to see what this would have looked like with a splash of color in the background and color on the character.

The only gripe, which is a small one, is how cylindar the finger nail is on the middle finger. It seems really out of place.

Ardhamon responds:

I may actually redraw this one day and give it a bit more life and color. But I appreciate the feedback dude! :)

To me, this speaks one thing. Toothpaste. It just looks like what a tube of toothpaste spits out. :P

Really not my style, but I do think, framed up, you would see this hanging on the restaurant wall of a small hipster coffee shop next to the leave a book/take a book shelf.

YumichanStudios responds:

Thank you for your comment! This is actually made with shaving cream and swirled food coloring. I do see the toothpaste though and it ends up smellign like shaving cream lmao.

I appreciate the comment on where you would see it!

A really cool fighting scene, but with the color choice here everything seeems extremely clean and sterile. We see destruction here, bit it needs some color to offset the solid grey we see across the canvas.

Some rumble by the buildings, some dirt on the characters. Etc... I think a little bit of detail could bring this picture to the next level.

BitterMause responds:

Hey, thanks so much for the input! I absolutely agree it could use some color and detail tweaking. If I revisit this piece, I'm going to keep these pointers in mind. Much appreciated!

This is really neat. I would love to see a graphic novel with animated panels like this. Great pixel work all around and I love the use of multiple greens here. Perhaps it would be nice to have one extra frame of the fire's light against the back drop to mix it up a little bit, but great nonetheless.

lordmagian responds:

Kind words indeed. I did in fact work with a palette of mostly greens and blues, something I learned from making lots of pixel art which will carry over to the novel. As for the animation, my experience with it is little to none honestly, my objective is to learn as I make, start out simple like moving fire, twinkling stars and basic sprite idle movements (as shown in this post) and hopefully as I progress I can do more and more.

Dark, twisted, evil. I love it. The lighting effect coming from the top looks great. Even with the added gore it does seem to be lacking a bit. Perhaps a little bit more blood to go with this one? They're way too clean for how evil they look.

CowFz responds:

Appreciate the feedback friend! I agree they do look a little too clean based on their personalities, I added a bit more contrast in the shadows and more rough strokes and blood and I agree it does loo better. Again thanks for the review!

Exactly how it went down. I appreciate the plot and delivery of said plot. Just doesn't get much better than this.

Little-Rena responds:

I like to base my stories on fact!
