Nice job.

To be completely honest I had a hard time coming up with anything to say. Perhaps I spent all of my creative juices on my 800th review my last review, but man I'm just empty for words.

Perhaps that's a good thing that I can't find anything wrong with it, but I also can't really find anything to say that really says, "Hey this is a really great song" either. It just sounds like your generic song that I have grown to expect from newgrounds.

Oh well, off to an actual review now. It had quite a nice beat and I like the small build up effect that you used in the beginning of the song where you introduced new sounds. It was well mixed and had pretty good quality all around. Nothing really wrong with it, but nothing really "great" about it either. Sorry for such a lame review.

~ 800th Audio Review ~

I thought I would do my 800th audio review on something that I knew was going to be great and on one of my favorite audio artists. So the great Bad-Man I was off to.

The first thing that I think of when listening to the beginning of this song is "woah, good intro". It really got me ready for what was going to be coming up next or at least that's what I thought.

I was then hit in the face by a punch of awesomeness which is known as Bad-Man on his guitar. The heavy parts were heavy and rest of the song was just as epic behind it.

Nice shredding skills there towards the end of the song on that solo man. I loved the entire thing. I would love to do vocals for this or find someone to do vocals for you, but I would probably need help in writing some lyrics for it as I don't know how to write lyrics very well. :P

The ending changed the song up real nice and it really added to the presence of the song all around. The parts that paused might be my only complaint at all because I felt like the pause might have been just a tad bit too long before the song started up again, but not really that bad at all.

So I'm very happy that I used my 800th review on you. You've made my audio reviewing time here on newgrounds well worth it. I'll be sure to save one of your submissions for number 900 and another one for number 1,000 so make sure you keep on rocking it so I can keep on reviewing man.

Keep up the good work like I know you will.

Happy 800th. As always, thanks for the kick ASS review. It sucks that the VA thing got cancelled. :(
Anyways, if you want to do vocals, feel free. Then send me the "rhythm" of the vocals you wanted, and I'll write the lyrics. I can write lyrics with my eyes closed...once I have the "rhythm" established.

We can all relate.

I think we can almost all relate to the story that you put down. It can be a difficult time and I know at 20 years old sometimes I still go through the thoughts in my head of is this what I really want to be doing, I had so many chances, all of the good times that I had are now over, etc..

It goes by fast and we really don't appreciate it while we have it, but life does get better and it all depends on how you personal choose to view it. I think you really showed that in this song. You get the feeling of hope and the feeling of sadness all mixed into one song.

But with sadness there should always come hope. And with hope sometimes there comes sadness. You did a brilliant job showcasing that in your work here even if you weren't going for that exactly.

I really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work man and good luck.

I once heard someone say that before every mountain top is a valley. When life is great, things are bound to decline at some point. On the other hand, even when you are in the most difficult phase of your life, way down in that valley, it just means that you are coming to an even higher mountaintop.

I try to look at life from that perspective. I cherish the good times and live to the fullest. When times are hard, I look forward with hope, knowing things will get better.

Not bad at all.

This had a very good sound to it. A good video game feeling to it all around. It also had a nice epic feel to it as the bass jumps out and bunches you in the face as soon as it starts. :P

I can see an army marching to this while the other army has no chance of stopping them at all. Sounds like it would be pretty cool for the introduction of a IRL video game. Something more than what you would see on a flash submission.

Pretty good

I like the video game parts that you put in your song. The extra sound effects really added to it. I also thought you did a really good job on mixing the song up so it doesn't' get boring. You really found the happy medium between too repetitive and too crazy. Great job there.

The random vocals that you used were very well timed also. Not overused, but perhaps could have been used a couple more times. The length of the submission was very good and you did a good job on not letting the song get boring with such a long time frame here.

My favorite song ever now.

Not only was this one of if not the best song that I've ever heard on this website, but it makes my favorite of all time off of the website too. And I'm a heavy metal fan. This isn't even close to my genre.

The humor that you included in this song was amazing. You kept the funny shit up for the entire song. Very epic and I loved that I can laugh during an entire song because it was so good instead of laughing at it because it was so bad like I tend to find myself doing.

Very dreamy voice man. How do you not have the girls all over you? ;) Seriously though the lyrics were amazing, the vocals were some of the best that I've heard on the site, and just a great song all around. There's really no way to improve it at all.

Faved, 5'd, 10/10.

Hmm, like I mentioned in another of your songs.

I'm a big heavy metal fan so you're getting a few extra bonus points from me, but overall it's just not good heavy metal music. The biggest problem all around is the voice. It just doesn't sound great. A lot of it sounds very rushed and just isn't the heavy metal voice that I think of when I listen to a song like this.

The guitar and drums were done very well. Perhaps the entire thing had a quality problem all around.

The lyrics themselves were ok here, but sounded like they needed some actual singing in between the screams. Your best quality though is obviously the longer screams like at the very end of the song. The other parts just don't seem to cut it for me though.

A bit better than the last.

I liked it all and it had a very nice hardcore sound to it at the beginning of the song. At the end of the song I don't really like the fact that it faded out so long. It seems that the guitar really picked up towards the end and you just faded through it like that part wasn't very important.

A decent song all around and I think a little bit better than your last. Doesn't sound as empty or like it needs anything additional like vocals. Perhaps a bit of static in this one though?

I thought it was pretty good.

It sounded like something that I had heard before, but I just couldn't put my finger on it because I'm not that good at remember names and what not. I think the instruments were done rather well in this submission, but the overall feel that I get from this submission is that it's kind of empty.

Such as it needs vocals in it. Other than that it's very relaxing and a good quality song overall. Like I said it just seems a bit empty.

I'll go with a 7 here.

First off why did your account become deleted? I rather not review submissions from someone who's just going to get deleted eventually. :/

Anyway, the song itself sounded really good. Good background music and the vocals mixed in very well. It was very upbeat and fun to listen to for awhile, but in my opinion it went on for too long.

It ended up getting rather repetitive and boring after awhile. It almost sounded like you could have cut the song length in half to reduce this repetitiveness and I think it would have sounded much better like that.

Perhaps a couple of different lyrics would have helped out with the repetitive feeling also.
