Really basic, but also a super clean and well done piece. I could see this being a piece in a bigger picture or animation. I think the wear and marks in the wood give it a cool rustic look and that it would be a good fit for an old school RPG game or something similar.

TheGreenFox responds:

thanks this was actually a piece of a bigger project that is not done yet..because i need to learn code first but yeah it actually is for a game

I love the large amount of line work and detail. It really makes these pop off of the page and even gives them a bit of depth like they're a little 3D. I could definitely see this being the style in a graphic novel or comic book.

Are there are plans on adding color to this eventually or is it a stand alone black and white project?

Urichov responds:

Thanks, first off, I was going for a perspective-heavy look, at least as far as the motorcycle is concerned, which is basically why this drawing took so long.

As far as colour is concerned, I tend to find it difficult to add colour to a black and white drawing after I've finished it, since the line density sort of defines the tone, and then once I add the colours I imagine to fit the concept they can end up throwing this tone off, so whether I later add colour to it or not is up in the air, but I don't have any immediate plans to.

This might not be stand alone, though, as I think drawing a snail-operated robot is inherently funny and I may end up doing more big illustrations of this concept just for a laugh, maybe putting the snail in different robots depending on what I want it to be doing.

I just stumbled across your art and I'm super happy I did! I'll have to check out your other work. Purple and blue are my favorite colors to see in artwork and not only does this one use them really well, it seems like a lot of your other work does as well.

I recommend the viewer zooms in to really get the effect of how well done this is.

CowFz responds:

Eyy that's great to hear that we share the same favorite colors man! I don't know to me blue and purple colors for most things gives me a very chill mood most of the time and calms me down a lot. and thanks for the kind review as well!

Wow, this is great. Where are all of the reviews at? This is a crazy good piece of art. Heck, so good that it's convinced me to follow @ZackTheGreat because I really want to see what game uses this type of art.

This looks like it's right out of a professionally animated cartoon or a comic book. Great job!

That's a pretty damn good version of Phobotech there. Super close to his real face and with pixels nonetheless, great job!

I think the second animation I ever reviewed 16 years ago was Glass Of Water. I use to watch the Knox videos over and over.

This is super simple, but really good stuff. Great use of colors and it brings a bit of nostalgia with it.

Nice job.

I think your artwork and style is getting consistently better over the course of time. I know this is a slightly different style, but its a huge improvement over last year's Pico Day submission.

Keep up the great work! Its been nice watching your style and quality grow as an artist.

WonderSchwifty responds:

At the moment , I usually practice on paper behind the scenes and stuff. As during the moment, I'm trying to be fresh before I get in to art school this autumn and stuff. Thanks, I try much as I can an test different styles and stuff during time.

Wow!

I would buy this on a poster! It would also simply make a pretty great computer background. Awesome work, good job getting so many characters in there with that high of quality work.

Kengabr responds:

thankyou soo muchh ! glad you like it !

I didn't expect so much detail when I clicked on the icon! What a nice little surprise. Another picture that makes me realize I have no clue who some of these characters are and how much I need to start watching more content on here.

That being said, no better way of representing Pico Day and Newgrounds in general than the angry face!

This picture really makes me realize that even though I've had my newgrounds acxount since 2004.... I have no clue who a good portion of these characters are.

Ive done the website a deservice by ignoeing the portals for way too long. I never watched any animation or even noticed anything with the green blob guy or airplsne, but have noticed them before.

I think you did a great job, but woukd have almost liked to see a picture full of characters. (Or have the characters in the picture take up all the space) The background in the top right almost feels like you ran out of time and feels a little rushed!

Kutaykomiks responds:

There were some more characters I would like to add but like you guessed, I ran out of time. I also chose to add only one character for each creator (with the exception of Pico and Alien Hominid) to feature the stuff that affected me the most, like a super private party. My intention was to write "Happy Pico Day" using fireworks but they looked more like stars. :P Thank you for the review Coach Fro!
P.S: The green guy is from Red Diamond Dragon Club and the toy airplane is commonly used in Animutations.
