Probably not the joke I would have used as a long time store manager myself, but I love the concept nonetheless.
Perhaps a joke where he would find another superhero to delegate the task out to because of how simple it was? Ah yes, thats what I would have done in real life.
The art was a bit simple, but works. I think the pictures would have looked more visually appealing if they were closer together. No white space in between, with a solid and thick line creating separation.
A really cool fighting scene, but with the color choice here everything seeems extremely clean and sterile. We see destruction here, bit it needs some color to offset the solid grey we see across the canvas.
Some rumble by the buildings, some dirt on the characters. Etc... I think a little bit of detail could bring this picture to the next level.

I like it, but actually feel like not continuing the paper lines all across the canvas has made the picture fall flat a bit. The characters would have really popped and been given a 3-D look.
Other than that, the characters themselves were drawn extremely well. Keep up the good work.
Awesome use of purples in this one. The colors in this are extremely vibrant and go together perfectly.
I'm probably nitpicking, but my eyes go directly to where the fruit slice joins the cup. It seems like the perspective is off a little bit there. Also, the watermark right in the middle of the picture is distracting.
Amazing coloring all around. High quality water coloring here. I can't tell if I would like it more with some splash of color in the background or if it looks great the way it is.
Awesome work man! It would be pretty cool to see this style used to recreate the Aqua Teen Hunger force. Also, I'd love to see this as part of a bigger picture. A fast food joint where the food is scared while the customers chew away?
This is really neat. I would love to see a graphic novel with animated panels like this. Great pixel work all around and I love the use of multiple greens here. Perhaps it would be nice to have one extra frame of the fire's light against the back drop to mix it up a little bit, but great nonetheless.
Kind words indeed. I did in fact work with a palette of mostly greens and blues, something I learned from making lots of pixel art which will carry over to the novel. As for the animation, my experience with it is little to none honestly, my objective is to learn as I make, start out simple like moving fire, twinkling stars and basic sprite idle movements (as shown in this post) and hopefully as I progress I can do more and more.
Dark, twisted, evil. I love it. The lighting effect coming from the top looks great. Even with the added gore it does seem to be lacking a bit. Perhaps a little bit more blood to go with this one? They're way too clean for how evil they look.

This is what newgrounds use to mean to me. The community coming together and making things for fun. I see less and less of it now. Mostly people are out to make a buck instead.
