I played the game and absolutely hated it. The song is pretty cool. I'm unsure if the upbeat manner is completely fitting for the submission, but overall it sounded pretty good as background music.

Sadly I was so bad at the game I couldn't get any clue on how it looped over in gameplay because I would always die well before I could get that close to the end of the song.

I really liked the introduction here. It gave the feeling of a frantic and desperate situation where someone was trying to get away from something. Perhaps exactly what you were going for? The scene painted could be someone running away from an UFO or something of the sorts? A cool sound all around. Keep up the good work.

Dadush responds:

Thanks, honest the saw-cer name just came from the document being called "saw" for saw-tooth wave and "flying sawcer" seemed like a nice dumb pun name, but I like the UFO analogy you put it in. My one personal grief is the guitar, LMMS isn't built for live instruments so I played around with a workaround which is somewhat tedious and overall I don't know how I feel about it. Either way, I appreciate the comment.

I'm not sure if I really liked the how abrupt the new sound was around the 1:10 mark. I'm unsure if it was completely fitting in my opinion. However, the song as a whole had a really nice build up and a lot of variety. Every so often something different got introduced and it added a nice variety that prevented it from getting repetitive.

Fixed!

Great job. Has an old school video game introduction feel to it. Nice job all around, keep up the good work.

I let this thing play in the background for a few loops. It definitely has that great old school hip hop sound to it. You should rap to this, I think you got it in you man.

I haven't checked out the submission it was used in yet, but I'll make sure to do that now that I've heard this.

Nice job, I dig this.

It has a really happy and upbeat energy too it. A nice bit of variety throughout the entire song and a good listen all around.

Slide into my PM's.... For a flip pic... sounds legit..

Man a 9 hour interview? That's some damn commitment there!

I hope to make my way through all of these submissions this week and leave them a review. I still have two other art talks to catch up with so we'll see if I can keep pace! Luckily I've already reviewed all but 2 of the pet jam submissions. I'd really like it to make it all of the way through them as well! Grrr too many submissions not enough time in the day.

A great episode. Looking forward to next week.

What's this doing for free on newgrounds when people should be paying big bucks to listen to this?

Fire and blood actually made me laugh a bit! Its nice to hear heavy metal on newgrounds, I enjoy following heavy metal artist, but it's hard to come across good ones here.

I think that the break (I guess that's what you call it!) could have used some vocals as well, something a change of pace from the vocals from the rest of the song.

Could a boomer like me get the lyrics in the description lol?

Mexidancer responds:

Lyrics added, thanks man

Nice job Mr. Seth. I could definitely see this as intro music to an old school video game or hell even an old school movie.
