"May be based on a true story. May not be. I don't know everything that's ever happened.", is perhaps the best way to start every single story known to mankind from here on it.

I wasn't sure where this one was going, but the cat catching on fire and instantly jumping out the window was really funny.

Good job with this!

I liked your idea, but I think it dragged on for a little too long. Ending it shortly after the PTSD scene, which I though was really funny by tue way, would most likely have been better.

Voice actors from the voice acting forum would have been nice, but I think the style was alright with the subtitles.

Other than dragging on a little bit a decent submission.

A decent spammy submission. I did get a small chuckle at the very end with the dog getting squished, but overall extremely predictable and nothing too exciting to watch.

I like the long drawn out introduction. It was full of cheesy jokes that I could appreciate. I think the punch line was too generic though. I feel that even a simple voice over saying something like, "I can talk now" mixed with the humans reaction could have been a better joke.

Hopefully the jam and quarsntine gets you back into animating though. Hope to see you post more stuff in the future.

I dont think I enjoyed the submission as half as much as the cat enjoyed it. It did make me chuckle a little though. Sadly, the only part that made me chuckle was the audio that you didn't create. (Which was really low quality... Maybe not your fault?)

The animation was super simple and the artwork needs a lot of improvement. I think this could have been a pretty decent submission.

Keep on working and you'll keep getting better!

Well as long as your, 'cat' enjoyed it:)

The full audio is 5 minutes long, but most of that obsessing over the cat's ears. I mean what do you animate for that? Fingering between the ears maybe? The face was difficult to animate due to the audio switching back & forth between talking, orgasmic purring, & pauses; unlike a top rated film were dog just mostly sits talking about doggy porn. The audio is actually suppose to get worse as the cat has trouble concentrating due to being drunk with pleasure. We had some animation in the first half like jumping, clawing, rocking & eye rolling, but figured people would focus on cat's voice once it started purring. We originally planned on animating the whole audio & drawing the cat more female as the video progressed; however, time constraints made us look for logical place to stop the suggestive metaphor by coming to an climax with a little fur flying. What would you have done differently?
Thanks for the review.

But... But... There was no talking?! Wasn't the whole point of the competition to hear what the animals would say if they could suddenly talk?

I think the lack of voices really is the downfall here. I might have been able to get over the lack of artwork and color if there would have been some interesting or humorous punchline thrown in.
