Pretty good

Sorry for the short review I'm in a hurry. :P The instruments that you used together were quite good. I'm impressed on how well everything went together and it was very fun to listen to. Some parts were more laid back and relaxing and some were more quick and action like. The all around feel though is that you would be in a mysterious place that you don't quite know what's around the corner, but you keep venturing on even though sometimes bad things might be around the corner, but you never know when something good is going to be around the corner too.

Yeah I can definately see that sort of atmosphere coming through the song. Oh dont worry about the short review. Ive had plenty short reviews which were much more annoying :D Thanks for the review, and I hope I can make more cool stuff like this to keep you entertained :D

Good sound

I probably listened to this 50 times as it looped, no kidding at all. Just an overall relaxing sound to it. Plus I was too lazy to actually review it right away so I just let it play again and again and... again...

Has a very nice classical touch to it and I tend to enjoy the classical songs here on newgrounds. Instruments were clean and everything ran together smoothly. Just a good piece all around. Maybe it's only fault at all is that it's very simple and sort of short, but I liked it the way it was.

Hey, thanks for the review.

The song's in progress, it's got a good ways to go, but i'm glad you enjoyed it.

Not bad

Ha, first off... I've seen much faster, but yet I don't think I could talk this fast let alone sing this fast. At least I don't think I could do it with any kind of quality. The lyrics themselves were pretty good and the vocals were decent. The vocals weren't amazing, but were pretty good all around.

The big thing about the submission that was mentioned in a couple of other reviews is the fact that the lack of emotion just makes it sound like your just talking fast. With a little bit of work though this could sound much better. Keep on working.

Background music behind the vocals was simple, but effective. Good enough for what you were doing.

Thanks!

Some good some bad, etc..

You know the drill with things like this. It's full of some good voices and some not so good voices so the score always drifts right around the middle of rating system when I review.

My favorite voice had to be your normal voice where you did the introduction and the final part of the submission. Oddly it was your normal voice and it wasn't really acting in anyway, but because of that it sounded so natural and you never got the impression that you were trying too hard like you do with some of the voices here.

Like I mentioned some just sounded like you were trying too hard, but that seems very common when trying out some new voices. I personally don't have the time to label each voice and say what I liked about each one, but there were a few that I could imagine good characters for and sounded quite clear.

At first I almost thought the quality wasn't the best, but it seems that I didn't even notice it after I listened for a little bit so the overall quality of the submission itself was quite good.

Overall I know your a great voice actor and trying out new voices can be tough, but it is also what is going to help you improve so keep up the good work and keep coming up with new and improved voices so you have a wide range of possibilities.

Hmm.

This is my theory on this audio submission. If you disagree, you are jealous of my amazing reviewing skills and you have a crush on me.

The voice. Woah man, that voice could kill. And trust me it did. The old man walking out side of my house had a heart attack and broke his hip on his way down. What possible could have happened to your vocal cords to produce a noise like that?

It sounded like a mentally challenged man had stuck a cat down his throat and while the cat was still scratching his throat he attempted to sing. The way the voice got real high pitched tells me the man isn't actually a man, but more like a woman or small boy.

Being totally serious now I got a couple of laughs out of the submission. Good humor, but you should work on that squeaky voice of yours.

AntiAliasProductionz responds:

It's all good!

Nice job.

To be completely honest I had a hard time coming up with anything to say. Perhaps I spent all of my creative juices on my 800th review my last review, but man I'm just empty for words.

Perhaps that's a good thing that I can't find anything wrong with it, but I also can't really find anything to say that really says, "Hey this is a really great song" either. It just sounds like your generic song that I have grown to expect from newgrounds.

Oh well, off to an actual review now. It had quite a nice beat and I like the small build up effect that you used in the beginning of the song where you introduced new sounds. It was well mixed and had pretty good quality all around. Nothing really wrong with it, but nothing really "great" about it either. Sorry for such a lame review.

~ 800th Audio Review ~

I thought I would do my 800th audio review on something that I knew was going to be great and on one of my favorite audio artists. So the great Bad-Man I was off to.

The first thing that I think of when listening to the beginning of this song is "woah, good intro". It really got me ready for what was going to be coming up next or at least that's what I thought.

I was then hit in the face by a punch of awesomeness which is known as Bad-Man on his guitar. The heavy parts were heavy and rest of the song was just as epic behind it.

Nice shredding skills there towards the end of the song on that solo man. I loved the entire thing. I would love to do vocals for this or find someone to do vocals for you, but I would probably need help in writing some lyrics for it as I don't know how to write lyrics very well. :P

The ending changed the song up real nice and it really added to the presence of the song all around. The parts that paused might be my only complaint at all because I felt like the pause might have been just a tad bit too long before the song started up again, but not really that bad at all.

So I'm very happy that I used my 800th review on you. You've made my audio reviewing time here on newgrounds well worth it. I'll be sure to save one of your submissions for number 900 and another one for number 1,000 so make sure you keep on rocking it so I can keep on reviewing man.

Keep up the good work like I know you will.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Happy 800th. As always, thanks for the kick ASS review. It sucks that the VA thing got cancelled. :(
Anyways, if you want to do vocals, feel free. Then send me the "rhythm" of the vocals you wanted, and I'll write the lyrics. I can write lyrics with my eyes closed...once I have the "rhythm" established.
I'd be happy for your help

I'll definitely keep making music. No worries there. :D Thanks again, my friend\m/

We can all relate.

I think we can almost all relate to the story that you put down. It can be a difficult time and I know at 20 years old sometimes I still go through the thoughts in my head of is this what I really want to be doing, I had so many chances, all of the good times that I had are now over, etc..

It goes by fast and we really don't appreciate it while we have it, but life does get better and it all depends on how you personal choose to view it. I think you really showed that in this song. You get the feeling of hope and the feeling of sadness all mixed into one song.

But with sadness there should always come hope. And with hope sometimes there comes sadness. You did a brilliant job showcasing that in your work here even if you weren't going for that exactly.

I really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work man and good luck.

BlazingDragon responds:

I once heard someone say that before every mountain top is a valley. When life is great, things are bound to decline at some point. On the other hand, even when you are in the most difficult phase of your life, way down in that valley, it just means that you are coming to an even higher mountaintop.

I try to look at life from that perspective. I cherish the good times and live to the fullest. When times are hard, I look forward with hope, knowing things will get better.

Thank you for the great review. It got me thinking. Even a bit inspired. :)
