Alright =P

Ha, I let this loop several times as I was making a catch up post in my new club, which I thank you for joining. ;) Anyway, very relaxing and nice use of the sound effects here. It was though very repetitive. Perhaps trying to get a little bit of variety in there would make this a better submission to listen to. It is pretty good ambient music though and would go good with a lot of submissions that needed a slow/sad piece of audio to match the animation and concept of their flash. Overall, not too bad and useful for a sad flash.

I know it's a bit repetitve, I thought it was a good length though. I thought about adding more stuff to it but my soundcard was begging me to stop raping it so I couldn't do much more to this O_o Also I was afraid I would ruin the mood.

Thanks for the review, i hope someone uses it for a flash :D

Pretty good.

This is a pretty good piece of audio here. As I usually read author comments before I listen to audio I noticed the part where you mentioned 1:28 so I decided to pay special attention to that. I enjoyed that part and I think the biggest reason why it sounded so good was because you started the song off kind of quick pace and then slowed it down for a little bit before that part of the song. It then picked up there again and it was followed by a lot of variety. Overall it was a pretty fun submission to listen to.

Not bad.

It was pretty good, especially for a demo. If this was just a demo then I'm sure the full version will turn out very well. Hoping to hear it soon. :) It was a pretty fast and upbeat song throughout the entire thing and it was very fun to listen too. I think the introduction was also nicely done. I don't really see what you could do to clean it up too much really, but maybe that's just because I don't know anything about music. :/ Overall, pretty good.

THanks you liked it.
I personally think it's better that you know less about (making of) music. That way i get a way more general impression what a major audience would think instead of all those audio geeks around here :). They go all techy about compressing and stuff.
Anyhow, glad you liked it, i probably will finish it soon. Might finish it before the end of this year. With some extended middle part, and extra chorus etc. It might turn out good :).

Nice job.

I honestly really don't like trance that much because usually it is too repetitive or very unoriginal, but I found that I did enjoy this submission very much. Ha, someone said that your last trance song was generic? That was probably me then. D: Sorry about that if it was me, but I think I was telling the truth. If it wasn't me then I guess disregard this. ^^ You really did step this one up though. I enjoyed letting it play in the background and enjoyed listening to it very much. It gave a nice dance/trance feel during the entire thing. Great length of the song also. It's awesome that you made it that long without having it get too repetitive and at the same time you had enough variety in it without making it messy.

No, someone else said it was generic.

Thanks for the review and the encouraging words. I did try really hard to make this song much better than the last one. Mixed it up a little to keep the audience's attention, I guess it worked

Although, I keep getting the feeling that something's missing...

Thanks for listening!!

Unique...

In a sense of warped reality, the song has sort of a cosmic feel to it. Although the background rhythm got tiresome after the first 40 seconds or so. The end seemed a bit patchy as well. Add something in the nature of some dynamic and tempo changes. Sounded like you were experimenting with the ambient/tech/house themes. Good for you, if so. Other than that, it was pretty bland.

A piano and guitar piece...

...interesting.

Background: A lone stranger, walking down a dim street, in the dead of night. Nowhere to go. Nothing to be.

Reminds of one those sad stories - filled with sorrow (the pianos) and rage (the guitars). Although the guitars came in a tad too early and abruptly. It just didn't sound right upon entrance. Maybe try to have it lead up next time, with more intense piano playing.

GronmonSE responds:

Will do. This was on-the-spot playing, I should stop improvising haha. I'll try better timing with the guitar and a better introduction, I admit it does sound a bit off.

Thank for the review.

Actually it reminds me of RS a lot

It's a very good rendition. You managed to keep the original in tact while adding your own original brand of syncopation. It was quite good though.

I reminisce on those days of medival warfare and it brings me back to a 13th century gathering at the village square.

Very nicely done, considering you did this all in one sitting.

Thanks Cork! If I work on a project I have to do it all in one sitting or I will forget about it... Lol. I am very forgetful sometimes. Thanks for the review!

You captured the theme very nicely, I think.

The clashing melodies make for a dissonant feel. Certainly very ambient more or less. The tempos seem to be inconsistent which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I actually enjoyed it. Reminds me of a temple theme - or that sort of idea. Anyway nice work man.

Hey cork!
thanks for the review!
I love it when people enjoy my music.
It makes me feel like I can actuallydo something right.

Nice again.

I have a dungeon scene that's being worked on right now, but I don't think I will want to use this for the whole thing. I will probably want to use it on the boss fight in the dungeon though. That sounds like a good boss fight song. It has that theme to it that sounds like panic. Great remix and damn those 0 bombers again. I can only do so much to save your submissions. D:

ZiggyZack99 responds:

Yep. Thanks!

Nice man.

Thanks a lot for putting these together. I really think that I'm going to be able to use a couple of these for my flash that I'm making. I guess this could have been just a bit longer and had a little bit more variety, but for a video game remix I guess it can be a little repetitive as background music usually is. Anyway, I didn't think about putting a cave scene in my flash, but I think it's a good idea. This will be a must use if I do.
