Yeah, the mic doesn't take too much away from the submission, but you can tell a bit that it isn't the best of quality. Does sound good being recorded on a simple webcam mic though.

The song itself starts off very good, but I get the impression that it gets a tad bit too repetitive and it has many low points where not much is going on and it gets just a tad bit boring because of it.

It would probably be useful for something such as an introduction to a movie where they are panning through a forest or over some green hills and mountains or something similar to that.

Thanks :)

I'll re-record this song, and then i'll add some more elements, firstly forest sounds, and synth sounds, and so on, so hopefully that takes care of that problem:)

Thanks for review:)

Namaste.

This is by far one of your best submissions that I have listened to. I usually rate your submissions somewhere around a 5 to a 7 or so right? Well this one was pretty cool and very fast paced. It was a fun song to listen to and it never really died down while never getting too repetitive or anything of the sort.

It also had some pretty cool sound effects. I like the high pitch laser type sound more towards the end of the song, but it can be harmful to your ears if you have the song turned up loud. :P

I see this with a very video game type of feeling to it as well. Sounds to me like it could be something that could be used in not only the credits of a submission, but even during the gameplay or maybe a video within the game itself.

Kind of making up my own vision of what I visualized when I listened to this song here. I almost got a feeling that someone was creating a robot or that a group of people, presumably scientists were creating some sort of dark and mysterious creature. The song as a whole has a very dark and mysterious sound to it, which fits very well with your song.

I also maybe saw a slow moving robot or machine that was heading towards a society or civilization about to slowly destroy it as it moved on and nothing really being able to stop it. Of course what you wrote is what it was for and makes total if not better sense then what I envisioned, but we all see different things. :P

There were a lot of cool sound effects in this submission and the overall sound of it gives it a very good visual to the listener. A song that would be fit for a flash submission or game, but is also pretty cool to just listen to by itself.

Thanks! I think it's cool that it fits as a standalone song and a song for a video game! :D

I have a couple of mixed feelings about this. It was pretty neat how you had the clapping sound effect there in the beginning and in the end. It almost gives the visual that someone is stepping out onto the stage and the crowd is clapping for them. They then perform their song and then are also clapped off the stage with about the same amount of tone of excitement.

The instruments that you used (I'm assuming loops?) did sound pretty good all around. The thing was that the way that you combined and mixed the sounds in the song was just a bit simple. There wasn't really enough going on and it gave it a bit of a boring feel. I would suggest having a bit more going on so it sounds more appealing.

A couple of words that come to my mind when trying to describe this song are different, original, cool, variety, etc...

It definitely has a different sound to it than most other submissions on the site, which obviously leads to the original sound it creates. You also had a lot of cool sound effects and a lot of different things going on in this song to really make it sound good.

I rather enjoyed how the introduction was slow in the beginning and then it started to build up. It can help create an image that everything is ok, but it's slowly starting to turn hectic until it quickly turns hectic and then hell just breaks out.

A good song all around and a couple of cool sound effects were there to really help it out.

SessileNomad responds:

i think this is my first submission that has an automation to control the BPM of the song, its a pretty cool technique that i was experimenting with

variety was def. somthing i was going for in this one, i wanted it to touch up on a few different genres, BPM changes, effects throughout, stuff like that, im glad you liked that aspect of this

"It definitely has a different sound to it than most other submissions on the site"-- my job here is done :)

glad you liked it dude, peace out

A good song all around. To me it didn't really loop that well, but Newgrounds does give a nasty little pause in between every now and then so that could have been the reason that it didn't sound so great.

It was a very good fast paced song all around and I enjoyed listening to it very much. It leaves a lot of things to the imagination and could probably be used in any type of flash submission where things were moving fast paced.

Good job all around and a good song that can get you moving.

So what all did you do for this? Did you do the voices and the "instruments" that were created with the mouth also? Either or I'm going to review it like you did do all of it and a 10 it deserves for sure.

Even though it may be quite simple it's also quite effective. Great vocals along with great mouth made instrument sounds. There really isn't much that I can do to critique this submission as I think it is perfectly fine the way it is.

Sorry for basically a useless review, but I find it hard to be helpful when the audio doesn't have much if anything wrong with it.

I think the best way of putting it is: Every noise in there came from my mouth. Thanks for the review!

As usual I come back to you for my special reviews. I do this for one reason and one reason only at that's because your music is just down right awesome. Of course this song isn't any different as it kicked ass.

I loved the singing in this submission with the screams and more metal voices simply backing up instead of being the main attraction in this song. Vocals were great, lyrics were written very well, and you did a great job on producing a great piece of audio here.

I guess the only bad thing is when the song ends it ends. :( It's just one of those things you want to keep listening to you know? Also, I see that you haven't been on as much or submitting as much, but you got to keep making stuff so I have time to visit you ever 100 reviews or so. :P

Keep it up man.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Why thank you. I dig that you come around. I love reading your reviews. Thanks a lot for saving your big numbers for me. That is cool as fuck.
I'll keep making stuff, but ..yeah. Another story. :D No worries though. I'll still put collab stuff here. For sure.

Thanks again, dude. You fucking kick ass.

Yeah, so that was down right awesome. I haven't ever heard trance quite like that and I must say that I am quite impressed with it. It's the closest thing in trance to heavy metal that I've heard. :P

The use of voices was awesome and you used them well. They were spread out nicely, not over done, but at the same time done just enough. The speed and tempo of the song made me want to get up and run around the room. It was very action packed and I could see it being used in a movie or game where things were just moving really fast.

I'm impressed with what's been in the RRC this week. Good job.

Aww man just a demo. :(

You did a good job though since this demo makes me want to hear the full version and that's what a demo should do. I was very surprised when I first started listening to this because I knew I had heard something like it at first, but didn't realize that it was a sequel to Raving Zombies, which is a song I happen to have on my favorites.

You can see the egyptian influence here for sure and it's a pretty cool song to listen to all around. Good job on the demo.
