Graphic wise this was pretty good in my opinion. Good practice of skills and everything seemed to go pretty well all around. The only faults in my opinion would be when the bird pooped on the ground after a short amount of time it just randomly disappeared for no reason. When he pooped a whole lot on the character it got a little sloppy (no pun intended) and looks like the animation could have been a bit smoother there.

~ Story/Content ~

Not a bad character I guess. I could see him being in a flash series. Kind of hard to review since it was basically just a test of the animation skills and everything. Wouldn't mind seeing what you could do with this character if there was some kind of content behind it. Even if you didn't want plot you could just have this character exploring and having random things being done to him like what happened here with the bird.

~ Audio ~

The audio was synced well in my opinion. Good quality stuff all around. It might have been able to use some quiet ambient music in the background.

I can see this character being used in more than just a simple test like you have created here.

Clock Day FTW!

The day that even the worst animations make it past judgment. This had worst quality then my first submission that was blammed, which was simply a Mario running across the screen looped.

I'm guessing this was made in pivot? Or pivot and flash, or maybe it was just flash. Well the animation part is impossible to give you a review on because it moves too fast. Looked like if it did move slow that it wouldn't be anything too great to look at though. One of the things that I did catch was that you used a white background all the way through. Why not make a more detailed background next time. Something like green grass, trees in the background, etc..

~ Story/Content ~

Well if this was made in flash then you need to stretch the frames out a bit longer. That's the only thing that I can recommend here as I couldn't see what was going on in the flash to give you an opinion on the content of it.

~ Audio ~

Was none. No room for it actually, but since you figured out how to make it longer you should try to find some audio that fits it.

Happy Clockday.

Very nice

~ Animation/Graphics ~

I really enjoyed the graphics and animation here. Smooth animation along with pretty good art work all around. The art work might have had a little room for improvement, but like I said it's pretty good. I guess I have a question of why isn't the mouth appearing on the man? It shows up when he talks, but goes away from his face when he isn't talking. It looks odd.

~ Story/Content ~

A very good piece to use for a small music video. I wouldn't mind seeing a series with the characters that you used here. I also haven't seen this movie in like 10 years so props to using something that might jog the memories of some of the users like me. :P

~ Audio ~

I'm assuming that was directly from the movie and that you didn't make that yourself. If you did then props, but if you didn't props for finding a high quality version. Animation and audio went very well together.

A good piece all around. Maybe a bit short. You could have picked a longer scene from the movie, but still pretty good.

Not bad

Animation and graphics needed a tad bit more work, but the all around story and way that you developed the flash around the audio seemed to make up for some of the lack of animation. They weren't bad, but just more generic/not so great.

Some funny parts to the submission, not all the jokes were funny, but it did have its high points. An all around decent submission in terms of humor. Voices and audio also seemed to fit the submission alright.

Needs some work

I know how claymation can be because I've done quite a few of them in my life and to be completely honest each and everyone that I had made turned out rushed and not very good at all. So I might sound like a hypocrite in this review, but just because I haven't taken advice for my old claymations it doesn't mean that it's not good information. :P

The claymen themselves could have been made a bit better. Just the average looking guy, but not really all that important. For the love of god invest in a tripod lol. That was horrible to watch all around because the camera was too shaky. Not only that, but because of how short they were they looked even worst with the shaky camera. They should have been about 30 seconds each to even be considered a movie or anything of the sort.

A couple of more complex movements could have been done. I think the major thing that needed to be focused on in this submission was how much time that you take while doing this. More slower fluent motions would have looked much better as it was very glitchy/skippy.

The overall look of the text was very unorganized. The generic white background with text that isn't exactly lined up anywhere in general. :/

Overall it sort of looked like a beginners claymation, something that I would have made a long time in high school. Hopefully you will get better as you keep practicing and hopefully you can get some money out of those ads to buy a tripod.

More content

~ Animation/Graphics ~

Very simple animations all around and mediocre artwork. The art could have been worked on a bit and the introduction to more complex animations could have added some nice features to this flash.

~ Story/Content ~

I think this could have been better if it was longer of course, but I think the way of approaching this to be longer would be to have a slower build up to the climax. (pun intended)

Something like flashbacks of the two characters together and happy times, etc... Then you could go to show Mario with her.

The song wasn't bad and went decent with the submission. Nothing really much to talk about there.

Not bad

Some very simple animations, but the morph looked quite complicated. Something that I don't think that I could do myself. The morph looked great. How long did something like that take? I get frustrated and bored after a short frame by frame.

~ Story/Content ~

Ha, not too bad. You really can't get much content out of a piece of audio like that, but I think it turned out well. It might be pretty cool to take a bunch of random audio's by this guy and to make a completely random animation just based on the audio clips that he had.

~ Audio ~

The one voice in the clip was muffled or unclear and the other voice sounded great. The overall sound was decent though. Decent lip syncing also.

~ Overall ~

A nice short. Great morph. Something with a bunch of random audio's putting a story together would be cool.

Needs some work.

~ Animation/Graphics ~

The sprites were done well and the animation was perfectly smooth. Background looked good and everything was really good looking. The speed of the animation was terrible though. It really needed to be slowed down a tad bit so we could see what was going on.

The words were hard to read so I suggest making a subtitle bar. Make a layer of a black bar on the bottom of the screen and change the alpha a little bit so it's slightly transparent and you can see what's going on behind it. Then you can use white text over the subtitle bar to make for an easy read text.

~ Story/Content ~

The play and top button wasn't needed as by the time someone could get their mouse to the stop button the movie would be done playing. I had to watch it a couple of times to see what was going on. It would have been better if it started off with some sort of story or plot and then slowly worked into a fight. The fight should have included more dialogue between the characters and should of lasted for at least 30 seconds to a minute long. Then you could have ended it there or could have continued with the story or even had a to be continued thing for a next episode.

Even if you didn't want to go with a story it would have been much better if it was again about 30 seconds to a minute. It goes by so fast it's not even worth watching.

~ Audio ~

The sound effects weren't timed perfect, but they weren't terrible. Some better syncing could have been good, but they sounded pretty good all around.

~ Overall ~

Try to add a story to it, but if you want it to be a random fight then you need to make it a tad bit longer and slow down the animation slightly. Good luck.

Decent animation.

~ Animation/Graphics ~

Really not that bad. The animation was pretty smooth and the drawings were done quite nicely. I think something that could have really helped this out though would be a nice background. Whether it just be some nature outside or something more like a factory inside, but a background would have looked much better on this animation.

~ Story/Content ~

Nothing really here is there? Just a random short flash about a robot being blown up. Perhaps some sort of story could be implemented? If you didn't want any sort of plot or story then at least add a few more situations where the robot fails and gets destroyed. Maybe having him be destoryed in 2 or 3 more different ways would have made this better.

~ Audio ~

Pretty good sound effects and they were well synced with the submission. For any future submissions make sure to check out the audio portal for some good stuff. They have something there for every situation.

~ Overall ~

Nice animation, backgrounds would have been nice, and just needs some content to be really good.
