Really good!

~ Animation/Graphics ~

I was actually very surprised when I saw this. Drawings were really good and animation really wasn't that bad at all. Looks like you put a lot of effort into the drawing. Keep up the good work and I'm sure animation will get better with time.

~ Story/Content ~

A very simple flash, but it was nicely done. Not really funny or action packed, but just a nice flash to sit back and enjoy. I think you should work on some flashes with plot in them sometime because you really are pretty good with it!

~ Audio ~

Nice use of sound effects and a good choice with the song. Nothing too much too add except for maybe a voice or something like that.

~ Overall ~

A decent job all around and I think you should start making more flash again because it looks like your quite good. :)

~ Animation/Graphics ~

The drawing and animation was great. Nothing much more to add about it seems you have a good talent for the graphic part of the submission.

~ Story/Content ~

I could see it being used in a collab, but doesn't seem like it would be one of the best parts in a collab. Only something that you would see for a couple of seconds or something like that. What I could see it being used for and I think it would look awesome would be as a credits. The animation that you had would be off to the left and the credits could role on the right side.

I didn't see the collab itself so I don't know if loops were the main part of it, but I would think that you would want something with more content. Something more than a loop itself.

~ Audio ~

Good choice of music that you had with the submission. Perhaps with more content in the submission itself it could lead to more animation, which then would lead to more need for sound effects or something like that.

~ Overall ~

Decent collab part, but I do think that there should be more content in the submission.

Of course the drawings are well done because they are sprites and everything. :P The animation itself could have been much smoother and that's the only thing that you can work on to make this flash a lot better in my opinion. I sometimes couldn't tell if some things were in slow motion or if some things were in regular time, but it was just lagging, etc.. Just the movement and animation itself could have been much smoother.

Also, some in between animations would have been nice such as when an enemy comes out from a door they actually walk out of the door instead of just appearing where the entrance of the door is.

~ Story/Content ~

I see you said you didn't have a lot of time, but it was rather short. Not very original either as it looks like 1,000's of other Madness submissions on this site, but I can't penalize you for that because there isn't much to do with Madness anymore. It's all been done. We can't all be Krinkles. I would suggest either making this long or adding some sort of plot though.

You could also greatly improve the menus by adding better colors, animation to them, etc.. By menus I mean the beginning and end where you use the gray text and credit some things.

~ Audio ~

Decent sound effects and decent music all around. Nothing too much more to say other than that.

~ Overall ~

Could really be cleaned up and added to be made better. Try to start earlier for next year's Madness Day. ;P

[Frame By Frame Flash]

~ Animation/Graphics ~

This is what you would expect from the generic frame by frame flash. The drawings could have been a bit better, but as in most frame by frame flashes like this the choppy look works.

~ Story/Content ~

I'd like to say at first there was a lot of action and later on it kind of started to drag on. It looked like later you were working more on more complex drawings. I think you should have went on with a little more action after it slowed down a bit. I also wouldn't mind seeing color put into this. Color would almost make this trippy and I think it would look a bit better.

~ Audio ~

I liked the choice of music here. In the future you should try to find some stuff in the audio portal of newgrounds. The song that you choice worked great with the beginning of the submission, but towards the middle and the end it just didn't flow well with the animation in my opinion. (Why I stated above there should have been more action later on) It did sync up well with the head exploding at the end though.

~ Overall ~

Almost your generic frame by frame flash. Not too bad, not too good.

FINALLY! Thank you very much for the much needed constructive criticism! Most people leave three words but this is exactly what i was looking for and the reason i posted this to newgrounds to begin with. I plan on doing better next time, possibly using colors. But as for the sloppy artwork, all my work is dont on a laptop with no conventional mouse, so this makes things a little choppy... i plan on using a real mouse next time however. Very smooth animation all around. Probably doesn't get too much better than that. A good style of animating also. Maybe the drawings could be drawn a little better with more detail, but they are still done great. Good job all around here.

~ Story/Content ~

The whole video/porno joke was awesome. I really laughed hard there because it was completely random and obviously wouldn't work as a pick up line almost anywhere. Several other jokes were also quite comical, but that had to be my favorite one. Great humor all around in this submission.

~ Audio ~

Good voice acting for the most part. The only thing that you could do to make it a bit better was during the yelling scenes. The person yelling actually made their voice quieter than the normal parts. Other than that the music and sound effects were really good.

~ Overall ~

Great humor and good job all around. Keep up the good work.

I think you perfected it.

Number 1 was my favorite and this one is my second favorite so far.

~ Animation/Graphics ~

This looks much cleaner than last time. I really don't think you can improve too much more than you already have, but keep working and I'm sure you'll get a tad bit better even though there isn't much room for improvement.

~ Story ~

I rather see a submission like this that has a completely random and funny story, but still follows a story. You really don't see a series with quality this high that follows a story anymore.

I really love this series and I'm going to keep watching, voting, and reviewing as long as your making them. I liked how you introduced more characters, which just adds to the possibilities of what you can do with the story.

~ Audio ~

I think the voices were much clearer in this one and that the music and sound effects were really good. The lip syncing looked to be off in a couple of spots, but nothing too major. Something to perfect in the next episode.

~ Overall ~

I really enjoy this series a lot. One of my favorite series on newgrounds to be honest. I'm sure you will have your own page someday with all of these submissions.

Great job.

I have a question for the submission itself. How do you embed a video into a flash submission and have the audio not get all off track? I've looked into it and it says to upload your video to a server or something like that, but I still don't understand... and do I have to pay for this server stuff? If you read this an author response explaining this to me would be greatly appreciated.

The submission itself was awesome. The special effects were great. How exactly did you create them?

Tom was funny as hell in these. Hopefully he does go to the Silent Hill meetup like he said he was going to because I want to meet the man. The faces, really cheesy acting, etc.. Everything about the humor of the submission was awesome.

The part at the end where he kept coming back and saying something different was awesome. That had me laughing so hard. It's actually a strategy that I used before in a movie that I made because it can really add a lot of humor to a movie.

Other than that this was awesome. I added it to my favorites. Good job to everyone who worked on this and congrats to everyone that won awards this year.

Also, lmao at the reviews that give this submission a 0 because the submission that they wanted to win didn't actually win.

Flash 10 converts the video into an FLV, same thing youtube does, once its in that format you can embed it into the stage.

Yeah, so props for you being smarter than the rest of newgrounds. I'm pretty sure you didn't have to mass vote it because of those things listed above also.

~ Animation/Graphics ~

I've seen a lot worse in a spam submission. At least here you do have what looks to be like a tweened movie clip if I'm not wrong. Hell even though graphics are a tad bit better than most spam submissions. I give you props on that even though what you did have wouldn't have taken more than 5 to 10 minutes. At least we aren't looking at a single frame spam submission that passed.

~ Story/Content ~

SPAM CAN STILL BE DECENT. Yes it can. Make it crappy like you did, but try to at least add some content behind it. Perhaps actually follow some of the stuff in your description and have things attacking him while he runs away. Adding some length instead of just the same loop over and over would make it much better even in terms of spam. Adding some sort of humor wouldn't hurt even though I do admit that character that you drew was kind of humorous.

~ Audio ~

OMG. Ha, that was so annoying. Make sure if that was something from the audio portal to credit it. I hope to god that wasn't though because it was enough to make somebodies ears bleed. Great choice for a submission like this, but some kind of weird voices or a scream seems to be more fitting.

~ Overall ~

Good job on fooling a bigger part of the newgrounds population, but just a bit more effort please. Not too many will complain about spam submission with effort in them. So work on the content a little and perhaps your future submission will earn a 2 or better on a vote from me. If you don't want to improve then it will continue to get my 0 on votes.
