Why didn't you tell me you had a new song man? You usually tell me when you do. :( Oh well, I happened to stop by and see it anyway. Not my favorite type of music because I like the faster music, but still it's very good. Why such the long time at the end where there wasn't any music though?

Loops good
Well just like my last review, I haven't ever played Biohazard, but giving you the benefit of the doubt I'm sure this is related.
I let this play in the background for a little bit to see how good of a loop it is and it is very good, but I still think that it lacks in variety. I think that you need to mix it up somewhere in the piece perhaps one or two times, which of course means making the audio just a bit longer. If you did that then I think this would be a great loop, but as of now.. it's just kind of boring.

I've never played Biohazard, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt that this is related in some way. D: In my opinion it just sounded way too messy. There was a lot going on all at once and some of it just didn't fit together. It maybe even made it sound just a bit distorted. I think you should maybe clear it up a little bit by removing something or just by not having everything run together as you had it.

It does loop very well and it would be a pretty decent loop for a video game or a game related flash perhaps, but I think if you mad it either longer or add more content, or probably the best thing would be to do both, then the song would of been a very good loop for an RPG game or another game. Overall, add more content and more length and I can see this being a decent loop.

Thanks for giving the visuals of your song in the author comments. ;) That's always nice when we can try to envision something while we are listening to the music. This piece had very nice ambiance and was a very emotional song. It's also a very nice entry for the MAC8. :P I enjoyed listening to the piano. I thought that the piano was very realistic. Overall, a pretty good song.

I tried to get a dampened sound from the piano, which was pretty simple to emulate from FL Keys. I think people underestimate that instrument. This is one of the few times where I feel like I've captured the right mood for the competition. I haven't checked back on the competition thread in a while. I don't think I'll win the top spot, but I'm hoping for an honorable mention.

When I first started listening to it I was like, "Umm pokemon?" Ha, I was thinking about how much of a nerd that I was because the introduction reminded me of pokemon, but than I didn't feel so bad when I read your author comments and you said that it was semi inspired by video games. So you really hit it on the nose if you wanted it to sound like video games. This reminded me of all of the old gameboy games that I played actually. I do think that it was very messy though. It kind of sounded like there was a lot of stuff thrown together in one spot. I guess I also thought that this was more video game related than dance related, but that's just my opinion. Overall a decent song, but kind of messy and jumbled together.

Not too bad.
I think this would be a better ambient piece. The rain in the background was kind of relaxing, but the song in general was a very relaxing song. A pretty good job all around, but it was very simple. I know it was suppose to be a relaxed song, but maybe a bit of variety could of made it better. I didn't exactly like the ending. I thought that you should of faded out in the ending so that it wasn't so abrupt. Overall not bad though.

Not bad.
Pretty good. I actually let this play in the background several times because it was pretty fun to listen to. The first time I listened to it I didn't think it looped very well, but after listening to it for a few times in a row I realized that it did sound pretty good as a loop. A pretty short song, but with the way that it loops it could still be a decent audio submission to be used in flash submissions. It wasn't too repetitive with a lot of variety in such a short song and it was fun too listen too. Good job.

That others have said, which I apologize for, but I have to write a review of some sort. Just like everyone else said it does need a bit of variety. Vocals would probably really make this submission fun to listen to also. It was a very upbeat song and had a lot of energy to it. I do have to say that it hurt my head a little bit with the higher pitch parts, but I already had a headache. >.< I won't let that take away from your score. ;) Overall, the only downfall was how repetitive it was in the beginning. I know you already know that, but other then that pretty good job.
