Interesting.

It was very different and for that I think it's very good. It had an original sound to it. I liked how it changed up several times throughout the entire song. Apparently there were some vocals in there? I listened through two times and didn't hear them. :S Oh well lol, I'm really hard of hearing so I probably didn't catch them. I do think that it could have used some more (I'm assuming there is vocals in it) throughout the song. Perhaps something like a countdown from 3 to 1. For some reason I think of that when listening to this song. It kind of goes with the whole moon theme too.

Overall - Very different and a fun song to listen to. If there were vocals I didn't notice them at all, but I do think it could use more vocals throughout the song. Keep up the good work.

lol there really arent any vocals in there. its just a woman breathy moaning. like ahh.
im thinking of throwing in a queen of england speech in there. the three moons kinda signify that it isnt happening on this planet. we have on moon. or maybe over a three month period of time. i like being vague when naming songs so it will fit in the listeners head better.

thanks for the sweet review. RRC kix ass

Ha yeah... repetition..

The entire thing was pretty repetitive, but obviously you knew that. I personally thought it sounded a little weird for some reason. The dun dun dun part. (The only way I could explain it sorry :P) It's not that bad though. It had a pretty catchy beat to it and it made my girlfriend dance in her chair so I guess it's good enough. :P

Overall - I think it sounded just a little off and too repetitive, but it was different and for that I will give it a good score.

Well, I guess Electro House tracks are repetitive without Vocals lolol.

Thanks anywayz :D

Hmm, I could probably just..

I could probably just copy and paste my last review for your other song. I think that you need to make it into a song instead of the very short segment that you had. It sounds really off for some reason like there are errors in it. I'm not sure if they are errors or if you did that on purpose to give it an interesting sound. Either way it does sound a lot different.

Overall - Way too short to really give it a proper review in my opinion.

Kind of different and short.

This sounded a lot different then a lot of stuff that you find on this website. I think that you need to make it about 10 to 20 seconds longer and make it loop a little bit better if your going to have it down as a loop. Other than that I can't really say what to improve on too much since the submission was so short and everything.

Overall - Make it longer and make it loop a little bit better. That should improve the score that I gave you by a couple of points.

Yet another game..

That I've never played before. :P

Ha, all of these 8-bit songs on this website I've never even heard the game. That being said I can't give too great of a review since I can't compare it to the original versions at all. The song itself was very fast pace and fun to listen to. You used great sound effects from which I assume is the game. Great length in the submission also.

Just search YouTube for "Balloon Trip" and you should get plenty of videos with the music in context. It's a great song, imho.

Trance...

Trance is just too repetitive for my taste, but I can't review a submission on my personal opinion so I won't. The song was kind of catchy and had a couple of nice effects in it. Maybe it could be used for a part in the flash where the scene is really fast pace. Something like someone running from something that is closely following. Like I said before it's pretty repetitive, but so isn't almost any trance submission. You did mix it up a little, but the changes were so subtle that it really didn't add variety to the music.

Overall - Great quality, but just not something that I would enjoy listening to.

theta4 responds:

Don't worry, most people don't like trance...except Ferry Corsten's stuff. They seem to really like that stuff. Then again, what he makes doesn't really fit the description of *trance*.

Thanks for the review. And thanks for not voting on opinion. I absolutely hate it when people vote subjectively. We need objective voters!

Hmm..

Personally this wasn't something that I liked too much, but it still wasn't that bad in terms of quality. The keyboard sounded pretty good and everything, but I do think there are a couple of things you could have improved on a little.

After awhile the song gets quite repetitive and (not to sound rude) almost gets annoying to a point. I think if you would have added a little bit more variety in certain parts of the song that it would have made it a little better.

I also think that you should have used more vocals in this song. A couple of things you could have done with this is add vocals with different vocals or just use the vocals that you had a little sooner and more often, without making it too often.

Overall - Not too bad, but perhaps a couple of things could have been fixed on it.

Thanks for the review! You know, this was maybe the last thing I ever did unplanned (this is five years old). It's more fun for me than for you, that's granted. But you can't imagine the pleasure of asking : "Now, what will I do for the next 10 seconds of music?". And feel free to do whatever you like! Oh! The freedom!!!! Nowadays, I stick to structures and plan virtually everything for my band duties, but at some point, I hope I'll let myself loose again...

Not bad.

I personally didn't see where the quality was bad on this one at all. :S Oh well, I guess we all hear music different. There was a great build up effect in the beginning of the song, but after that it may have gotten just a little repetitive. It was a pretty catchy tune to listen to though.

Overall - I thought it was pretty good quality myself. It may start to get a little repetitive, but other than that it was a decent song.

I see a running theme about repetitveness in my music...

I'll make sure to do something about it in my future submissions.

Thanks!

Good cover

Great job all around man! This is a great cover in my opinion. The drums and the guitar were great in this submission. You brought in a good style in the song. I don't really understand everything about covers so I don't know if you did the drums and guitar yourself or what you do to make the submission different. :S Ha, either way the song sounded great. Keep up the good work.

GlueR responds:

Thanks for the review! The difference between a cover and a remix is that in a cover everything is recorded from scrap and everything can be changed, except the structure of the chord progressions and the lyrics, while in a remix, you use samples from the originally recorded tracks to mix them together with new tracks in order to make a song. Then there is the reproduction of a song, which is if the song is played exactly like the original and the remastered versions, where the final stages of the production are repeated to take advantage of new technologies. Well, that's basically it...
What we did, was a cover, so we changed the instrumentation, sequence etc and we recorded everything ourselves. And apparently what we did was of your liking! Thanks!

Pretty sensual. :P

But I'm sorry to tell you that I couldn't have sex to this at all. This isn't my "genre" of sex to put it. Mine is more the fast, hard, painful, and messy type that you were talking about in your author comments. I'll listen to that one and see if I can't use that sometime.

The song itself I could see being used in a movie before/during a sex scene. It's really good actually. Pretty relaxing and probably mood setting (to most). Good job all around.
