Trance...

Trance is just too repetitive for my taste, but I can't review a submission on my personal opinion so I won't. The song was kind of catchy and had a couple of nice effects in it. Maybe it could be used for a part in the flash where the scene is really fast pace. Something like someone running from something that is closely following. Like I said before it's pretty repetitive, but so isn't almost any trance submission. You did mix it up a little, but the changes were so subtle that it really didn't add variety to the music.

Overall - Great quality, but just not something that I would enjoy listening to.

Don't worry, most people don't like trance...except Ferry Corsten's stuff. They seem to really like that stuff. Then again, what he makes doesn't really fit the description of *trance*.

Hmm..

Personally this wasn't something that I liked too much, but it still wasn't that bad in terms of quality. The keyboard sounded pretty good and everything, but I do think there are a couple of things you could have improved on a little.

After awhile the song gets quite repetitive and (not to sound rude) almost gets annoying to a point. I think if you would have added a little bit more variety in certain parts of the song that it would have made it a little better.

I also think that you should have used more vocals in this song. A couple of things you could have done with this is add vocals with different vocals or just use the vocals that you had a little sooner and more often, without making it too often.

Overall - Not too bad, but perhaps a couple of things could have been fixed on it.

Thanks for the review! You know, this was maybe the last thing I ever did unplanned (this is five years old). It's more fun for me than for you, that's granted. But you can't imagine the pleasure of asking : "Now, what will I do for the next 10 seconds of music?". And feel free to do whatever you like! Oh! The freedom!!!! Not bad.

I personally didn't see where the quality was bad on this one at all. :S Oh well, I guess we all hear music different. There was a great build up effect in the beginning of the song, but after that it may have gotten just a little repetitive. It was a pretty catchy tune to listen to though.

Overall - I thought it was pretty good quality myself. It may start to get a little repetitive, but other than that it was a decent song.

Good cover

Great job all around man! This is a great cover in my opinion. The drums and the guitar were great in this submission. You brought in a good style in the song. I don't really understand everything about covers so I don't know if you did the drums and guitar yourself or what you do to make the submission different. :S Ha, either way the song sounded great. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the review! The difference between a cover and a remix is that in a cover everything is recorded from scrap and everything can be changed, except the structure of the chord progressions and the lyrics, while in a remix, you use samples from the originally recorded tracks to mix them together with new tracks in order to make a song. Then there is the reproduction of a song, which is if the song is played exactly like the original and the remastered versions, where the final stages of the production are repeated to take advantage of new technologies. Well, that's basically it...
What we did, was a cover, so we changed the instrumentation, sequence etc and we recorded everything ourselves. And apparently what we did was of your liking! Thanks!

Pretty sensual. :P

But I'm sorry to tell you that I couldn't have sex to this at all. This isn't my "genre" of sex to put it. Mine is more the fast, hard, painful, and messy type that you were talking about in your author comments. I'll listen to that one and see if I can't use that sometime.

The song itself I could see being used in a movie before/during a sex scene. It's really good actually. Pretty relaxing and probably mood setting (to most). Good job all around.

[When We Go]

Not bad.

It's sort of short so I think you need to either add some length to the submission while keeping up good variety and not getting to repetitive or you could make it into a good loop. Again, this is another good audio for a flash submission perhaps during the introduction or the credits of the submission, but probably not during the animation itself.

Overall - I think it needs to be a little bit longer, but other than that it was a good submission to listen to.

[SRD - The Almighty Sterling]

Damn static :P

Great build up effect during the song and pretty good variety throughout the entire thing. The static wasn't too bad in this one, but it still took away from the song a little bit. If the song was cleaned up perhaps it would be something good to use during the credits of a flash submission. A pretty good song to listen to though other than that noise.
Overall - Another good song that is only flawed by the static noise. So I know that you can make great audio. Good job and keep up the good work. (Try to get rid of the static in the future if you can, if you can't then I understand)

[Heal - Classical Remix]

Great job!

Awesome job all around. I really enjoyed listening to this song. It never really got too repetitive or boring. The entire thing was really fun to listen to. I could see this being used during the introduction of a flash submission. Perhaps something like the older times with knights, kings, wars, etc... It would be very useful for something like that.

Overall - I really don't think there is anything you could do to improve this song. It's really well done all around. Great job and keep up the good work.

Not bad.

I think in the beginning that perhaps the background music was a little drowned out by the main music. I know you don't want the background stuff too loud, but I think it could have been just a little bit louder. I wish I could give you a higher score because this submission had decent variety in it and a good beat. (For what I could tell) But the static itself made it hard for me to tell for sure.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt I will give the submission a 7. I understand that sometimes things don't turn out as well as they should and this is one of those examples with the static noise.

Overall - Hopefully you can get the whole static thing fixed sometime because the song would probably be much better to listen to. Good luck on any future submissions.

Not bad.

I thought it was very simplistic, perhaps a little bit too much though. I thought after awhile the song got very repetitive. It was a nice beat though and it was a pretty good song to listen to. I think perhaps it's something that would be pretty good to use over an introduction or maybe even the credits of a flash submission. Probably not so much as in a flash animation itself, but probably during the intro/credits.

Overall - Perhaps it needs a little bit more variety, but what you had was done well and might be useful in a flash some way. Good job and keep up the good work. Good luck on any future submissions.
