Pretty good.

This would be a great song to use in a flash movie or game. Probably somewhere in the introduction or credits, but even during the animation itself would be really good. (Looks like it was used in a flash submission anyway)

A little bit of it sounds a little off for some reason, but other than a few odds and ends here and there it sounds pretty good. Great job and especially as a first submission to newgrounds. Did you play the guitar yourself or did you use a program?

Cyberdevil responds:

Thanks for the review! I play guitar, but this is made through a program, don't have the right equipment to start recording through real instruments, yet. :P

Again.. I dont know how you do it...

I try so hard to get my screams down like that, but I'm not even close. Maybe it would sound better if I recorded it and listened to it on something. Just hearing myself do it sounds like shit though. Great vocals for this man. I wish I could do it. It's good that you put the lyrics up on your userpage though because I had to listen through a couple of times and read along before I understood everything. That's how heavy it was. Great job all around and you had a good piece of music to work with.

Kind of sad.

Kind of sad, but at the same time it still rocks. Another song that I remember reviewing before. >:] Ha, another song that will just have to be put right back on my favorites. As great as the song is already I think this would be amazing with some sappy sad lyrics to it. Perhaps enough to make the manliest men tear up a little bit. :P Great guitar in this submission man. MindOverMatt did a great job on the bass as well. Great job all around.

Nice flash theme

This is a great flash theme all around. I could see this being used in a flash or flash series. Great guitar and great drums in this song. A little short, but that's probably what the flash author wanted for his theme. I would love to hear the version with vocals and wouldn't mind seeing the flash/flashes whenever the guy gets done making them. Good job again.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

I can't wait to be able to get to the version with vocals. Thanks for the review, bro.\m/

Favorite

I remember hearing this on your older version. (WHICH YOU DELETED AND DESTROYED MY REVIEW COUNT) Haha, I don't care about that though. I can't say I remember what the old one sounded like exactly, but I can honestly say that this sounded professional. Not only the instruments, but the vocals too. I would honestly pay to listen to music like this. The only thing that I can say against it at all is that I feel like it just kind of ends way too sudden. To me personally it sounded like the guitar needed to fade out there or something similar so it wasn't so sudden.

Great job all around and thanks for another song on the favorites.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

haha, just left you wanting more. haha.
Thanks man. I have ONE final version of this coming. Soon, I'll pm you when its up. I'm gonna sing with crux on it. Should be awesome
As for quality, I'm spending a lot more time on my shit. I could usually plunk out a song in 4 hours, from start to finish, now I'm spending a lot more time developing it, and playing it over and over...just so its "right".

Thanks for the listen, review AND favorites man.\m/

Nice job.

I was excited when I saw Hip Hop because it made me remember all of those funny as hell rap and hip hop songs that you have. Ah, too bad you don't have vocals on it yet because this is just what this song needs.

I just loved the sound of this song. It was like a mix between Hip Hop and Metal. The guitars were really heavy and gave this song an awesome sound. You had a good electric sound going on during the whole thing too. Another great one man.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks man, vocals one day. FUck, I have no time for those anymore. :*(
Thank you for the review, sir.\m/

It's been awhile.

It's been awhile since I've heard that godly music of yours. I was busy with college and everything, etc... Should be back long enough to catch up on all of the songs that you have made that I haven't reviewed. It's good to here some good stuff again.

You know I've been practicing my scream and I just can't... just can't get it to sound good. What's the secret man? Perhaps I just don't have the lungs for it or something, but I just can't get it to not sound... cheesy I guess. Perhaps we can't all do it like the pro you are.

Anyway, nice addition to the contest. Good job all around and rock on like always.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks man. Good to see you. Yeah, r/l can definitely be a bitch. A balancing act that I'm slowly losing.
Anyways, there are a few instructional videos on the web for vocal ranging.
But my way....

When you are taking a huge ...and I mean HUGE shit...the "hold on to the towel rack for leverage shit scream". Then just open your throat a tiny bit more. And you get brootal. Haha.

GOod to see you man. Thanks for the review!\m/

Good song.

The song was very relaxing to listen to. I let it play about three or four times in the background while I talked to people on AIM and lurked the BBS. I let it play that many times and never got bored or tired of it, which means it wasn't too repetitive, and if it was the song was good enough for a person not to think of that.

A good song to sit back and relax too and at the same time it had a pretty good quick pace to it. Just a good song all around. It probably couldn't have been too much better in my opinion.

Kind of weird.

I enjoyed the guitar of the submission, but a lot of the song sounded weird. A little too weird at some times, but overall it wasn't too bad. It had a real spaces sound to it or just a sound that made it sound way out there.

It had a lot of variety to it so it never sounded too repetitive or boring, but at the same time the amount of variety that you had made the submission sound kind of weird. It's hard to explain exactly I guess.

Overall - An original sound to it and I especially enjoyed the guitar in the introduction. The other parts maybe not so much.

NeverHundred responds:

Yeah, I tend to shirk away from typical guitar scales. But I didn't think it was all that out there... it's just in E Minor. And this was made before I even dared to tread into the realm of off meter beats...

(Sorry for the low review)

Like I said, sorry for the low score on the review. I just didn't really like this submission too much. Again, not to be rude, but it sounds like what my roommate use to do on his guitar when he was drunk and just randomly strummed on the guitar.

It basically sounded like it didn't have any structure to it whatsoever. Just like you picked up the guitar and you didn't know what you were going to play, but you played it anyway. That isn't always a bad thing, but I don't think it was too good this time around.

I do think one thing could have made this submission pretty good though and that would be lyrics. I know you've heard this already in your other reviews, but it's what really would make this submission good. (Sorry I'm not good with coming up lyrics so I can't help you there too much)

When I hear this song I think of something like Sublime or some other band who usually have relaxing songs. Perhaps add a little bit of drums to the song or another instrument if you can too.

Overall - I personally didn't like it, but it doesn't really mean that it was bad. Just kind of empty and plain for my tastes. Keep working hard though.
