Ha, a song about Ninjas. Awesome.

You could write a song just about anything couldn't you? This was another great written song and you did a great job on singing it. This song flowed much better than your other songs and it was just non stop.

I liked the effects that you used on some spots for the vocals. The music again sounded great and really matched the lyrics a lot. Perhaps something you could see on the credits of a more modern ninja movie or something of the sort.

hey Fro glad you liked it. I guess I will have to strive to match the smoothness of my delivery on this track as I have been told this is my best in terms of that. The effects were just me re-recording the words on the same spot after the first cut of the song was done, nothing fancy lol, I don't really know how to do that much with effects and i'm using audacity which is much more limited than something like Fruity Loops. And if I ever heard this song during the credits to anything professional i'd shit my pants! thanks for the review.

This is pretty cool all around. I enjoyed that you had a story within your vocals and it went along very well with the whole robot/workshop theme that you had going on with this song. The vocals themselves were pretty decent all around.

The amount of lyrics that you have is amazing. Usually when listening to songs it's just the same thing over and over or just very few things being said, but you had so much here.

The music set behind the vocals was perfect and sounded really good with the lyrics. I personally didn't like that other voice that you had in there. The fake sound to it just wasn't really enjoyable at all. I also think that you kind of ended the song abruptly on top of that.

BAF responds:

The gnomes were a completely spur of the moment thing! I was about to export the final product when I got the idea, sorry you didn't like it. Yes it does end abruptly, and that's a problem I face A LOT for the reason you already mentioned, I just write too much lol, and I have a tough time cutting things out. Thanks for the review.

So lets listen to a genre that I don't like at all and not give a biased review. Guess what? I didn't have to give it a biased review because you really did a great job on it! You made it good enough that somebody that doesn't like this style at all such as me still enjoyed this song very much.

Yeah, I guess the problem that I had with a lot of music like this was that the song wasn't true to the person singing it, but you've made this song true to yourself and did a good job with the emotion you set into it.

Good vocals all around, good lyrics all around, and a good song all around even though I don't like the genre. Great job and keep up the hard work.

Thanks a lot, I'm glad I could change your opinion of hip-hop even it's just by an inch. Frankly the mainstream rap out now pretty disgusts me. I'm not the type to say that only undeground is good, I dont have a problem with mainstream music but jesus...it all seems so bad, no effort in lyrics and just ridiculously loud bass. I can understand why a person wouldnt like the genre as a whole. Thanks for the review.

A better loop than it is a song isn't it? I just think that because you actually never end the song at all and it actually loops pretty well.

The use of vocals were pretty good in the beginning, but without anymore in the rest of the song I was almost let down a little bit. I felt that there could have been some more sock it to me vocals later in the song, but perhaps with some different effects such as a deeper/more drawn out version of it later or in the middle of the song.

Pretty interesting song all around though and pretty decent.

Will responds:

Thanks! I guess it could be a loop, it is a bit short...

Woah, from the title of the submission I was expecting to hear you start shredding... then the song started out slow and I had no reason to believe that you would be doing that in this song at all, then to the pause in the song and the shredding started!

It was really fast paced and really enjoyable to listen to. If there wasn't such thing as heavy metal I would probably be listening to something such as this because it's so fast paced.

I guess the songs only weakness is the ending. I didn't really like the way you ended it, but at the same time can't really think of a good way to end it either. Perhaps it was a tad bit short as well.

SessileNomad responds:

yeah the ending was just done so i could submit it faster, nothin special about it

im glad i would be your substitute for metal xD

That was really sweet!

There seemed to be so many different genres in here. I almost heard some heavy metal or at least some rock along with some glitch style. It was really sweet and had a lot of variety in it!

The vocals were awesome and really timed well/used well throughout the entire submission. To me personally I don't have anything to critique the song on and I think it's one of my favorites on the site!

I wish everyone thought that highly of mewsik.

I'll also have to say that I've never heard this song before. The song itself sounds wonderful for a game such as Final Fantasy or something of the sort. Such as during their long drawn out introductions where they pan over a lot of wonderful views of the land and cities with the nice relaxing music playing.

Ha, now that I've listened to this song play for about 10 times through now I'll say that it loops very nicely and it actually didn't get very repetitive even though I allowed it to play for so long!

So my overall view on the song is that it would sound great with any video game type of movie or flash game and that it sounds really good and relaxing!

Ha, a very cool take on the song man! It really got me bopping my head to it and tapping my foot. If the laptop wasn't on my lap then perhaps I would have even gotten up and danced to it a bit. It's almost like something you could expect to hear after winning a Mario game or during the credits after a Mario movie of some sort.

The use of vocals was probably what made this song so good though. Very good timing and you used a good amount where you didn't use to many, but you also used just enough. The only let down of the song is how it just ends abruptly. I would fix the ending, but other than that it's rather good.

Prodigal responds:

Haha, Thank you Fro. The ending is a bit of a bummer, isn't it? I didn't work too hard on the ending, and this was a potential collab with a buddy too, but I guess it died off :P

Thanks!

This had a very nice introduction like it was right after someone's family member or good friend had just died in a battle or by a murder and the person is there holding them there in their arms. At first the person is thinking of the death itself and how sad it really makes them. After that they realize how angry they are.

They then go after this person that has killed the beloved one of theirs and in a mix of angry and sadness they battle it out. Every move and every step getting more desire and motivation as the person thinks of the death. Until they are finally victorious, only to be sad again at the end that it still doesn't bring their loved one back.

Woah, odd how songs like this can bring visuals to people huh? A very good song in my opinion and it has many purposes and can be envisioned in many different ways. To me I don't think it could have gotten any better so I'm going to give it a 10 out of 10.

Nice review! ;D

Thanks for the depth, meaning, and effort that you put into this, and It's more than worth the effort of putting a lot of work into it to hear someone liked it.

Thanks again, dude.

Ha, yeah the beginning made me wonder about how the end result of this song was going to be, but it actually ended up quite good. So the beginning was a tad bit slow like you already know, but it almost adds to the effect that you get when the song starts to kick off.

The song had a good amount of variety and was done very well. Congrats on the first upload and I've decided to help your score a bit as it was actually well below two before I voted. O.o

Centrist responds:

Haha, it's fun making intros to songs that make no coherent sense.

But all in all, thanks for the review. :]

To be honest, I know it's not the best thing ever, but I don't know if it deserved a 1.(something or other).

xD.

Thanks again!
